Courier Fraud - Spot it, Stop it! |

Dear Resident,
We hope you are well.
Beware of courier fraud Courier fraud is when criminals pretend to be police officers, bank staff, or other trusted officials and persuade you to handover cash, bank cards, PINs, jewellery or other valuables—often to someone they send to your home. Police warn that these criminals can be extremely convincing, and anyone can be targeted.
Remember Do not trust caller ID as proof that the caller is genuine.
If you think you've been targeted:Contact your bank immediately if you have disclosed banking information or handed over a card, and report the fraud to your local police/fraud-reporting service. If a crime is happening right now or someone is at your door attempting to collect valuables, contact emergency services.
A simple rule: If someone claiming to be an official asks you to move money or hand over valuables, stop—the request is a scam.
If you have any further questions, please contact us and we will assist as best as we can.
Kind regards
PCSO Kourosh Far
